    so, then, what's your preferred weapon for taking down Hunters? I prefer environment weapons, eg logs and especially radiators. but, if it comes to a heavy-thing-less fight, it's the shotgun all the way. two barrels to the face, sucka!

      I use the shotgun (yes, double-barrels ftw) and explosive stuff (usually they place that stuff around when you encounter a hunter)... Otherwise you have to use like 3-4 clips of SMG (less annoying than those damned Antlion Guards, though)

    well, i meant explosive stuff aside (i rely on that). when i entered the white forest in, and realized there was an ambush, the first thing i did was run around looking for something to throw. i have an affinity for radiators, from ravenholm in HL2, and so when i found the one near the stairs, i kept it close by for the duration of the fight. oh yes.
